It is deeply frustrating when pimples meet wrinkles. We wonder if life is playing a joke on us. So why, after waiting until adulthood for a clear zit-free skin, do we end up with breakouts and acne reminiscent of our 15s? Hormones fluctuation or imbalance can be a probable cause. It can be triggered by birth-control pills or stress. Pollution and high sugar intake can result in breakouts and acne can be a side effect in some medications.
Keeping that in mind, there are possible natural way to keep the zits at bay.
1- Regular exfoliation is key.
Exfoliating on a regular basis is the most important thing you can do to prevent and fight acne.
– Bentonite Clay mask
A clay mask can help dislodge pore-clogging oils and dirt and draws impurities.
Prepare a strong infusion of Calendula and chamomile flowers (Reduce inflammation).
Combine 1 tsp of Bentonite clay with 1/2 tsp of raw organic honey (Natural antibiotic) and mix to a paste.
Add the infusion to form a thin paste and add 1 drop of Tea tree oil (killing acne-causing bacteria).
Immediately apply to your face and neck avoiding the eyes. Leave on for about 15 minutes then wash off with hot water (avoid rubbing your skin). Pat dry and enjoy the clean feeling.
2- Use Apple Cider Vinegar as a toner
Mix one tablespoon of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with two cups of water, and swipe onto clean skin with a cotton ball.

The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of Echinacea will help clean and sooth your skin.
